From 2008 through 2024, Derek Sharp served as the Lead Vocalist, and guitarist of legendary rock band The Guess Who, performing nearly 1,000 shows across North America. Known for his powerhouse vocals, multi-instrumental talent, and commanding stage presence, Derek captivated audiences’ night after night, building a reputation as one of rock’s most versatile and electrifying performers.

Now, with his new project Derek Sharp & The Champagne Jam, he’s leading a bold Power Pop revival — fusing irresistible hooks, rich harmonies, and emotional depth with a fresh, modern edge. Drawing inspiration from icons like ELO, Queen, The Raspberries, and channeling the sonic energy of Oasis and Coldplay, Derek proves that timeless songwriting doesn’t fade — it evolves.
